Moral ersätts med känslor och upplevelser - Mark Fisher

Under senare år har personlig utveckling och självhjälp tenderat att stänga in individen i sig själv. Det har lett till att individuella känslor och upplevelser alltmer ersätter etik och moral. ”Morality has been replaced by feeling. In the ‘empire of the self’ everyone ‘feels the same’ without ever escaping a condition of solipsism.”¹

Det innebär i så fall att lagstiftandet i folkrörelser och civilsamhälle förskjuts från demokrati, skiljedom och ingripande till förhandling och medling. Lagen privatiseras.

Vem styr vem? Wilhelm Reichs förklaring av fascism

En populär förklaring till fascism är att auktoritärt regerande manipulerar massorna. Psykoanalytikern och forskaren Wilhelm Reich vände 1933 på förklaringen. Det är snarare massorna som producerar det fascistiska regerandet.

”It is not merely that the ruling ideology is the ideology of the ruling class. What is more important for the solution of practical problems is the fact that the contradictions in the economic structure of a society are also anchored in the mass-psychological structure of its members. Otherwise, the fact could not be understood that the economic laws of a society can have practical effects only through the activity of the masses who are subject to them.”

Fascism

Fascism är när nationen överordnas andra värden, som exempelvis etik, jämlikhet, rättighet och solidaritet. Genom att nationen därmed placeras ovanför konflikter och motsättningar skapas enhet.

Autokrati

Autokrati styr utan att motsättningar och konflikter ges formell plats i regerandet. Etymologiskt kommer det från att härska själv.
